Found in India, Bangladesh, Eastern Himalayas, Assam, Nepal, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia China and Vietnam on trees in forests at elevations of 300 to 1000 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growinng epiphyte with a short stem carrying 3 to 4, curved, obtuse to blunt apically leaves that blooms in the late fall and winter on an erect to arching, 4" [10 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with a few narrow bracts and with the apical, rather distant flowers opening first.
