Found in Bangladesh, India, Laos, Myanamar, Thailand, southern Yunnan and Hainan Island China as well as Vietnam in forests on trees or on rocks at elevations of 500 to 900 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte with a fan-shaped array of, several, distichous, conduplicate, curved, acute, equitant leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect to arching, terminal, basally narrowly winged, peduncle 4 to 11.2" [10 to 28 cm] long, rachis 2.8 to 7.2" [7 to 18 cm] long, laxly many [20] flowered inflorescence with several to many very small sterile bracts and sub-oblong-ovate, irregularily erose to dentate margined floral bracts. .
