This epiphytic, monopodial, warm to hot growing orchid is found only in the Philippines at elevations of 800 to 2000 meters with erect stems carrying very leathery, thick, flattened, grovved on top and bottom leaves that blooms on a short, to 6 flowered inflorescence with the flowers held close to the plant in a cluster.
