Found in Java and Sumatra at elevations of 1000 to 1600 meters high up on twigs as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with horizontal and then pendulous as they lengthen, branching stems carrying 2 rows of curved, linear, obtuse, canaliculate, thick, fleshy leaves that blooms in the spring on 1 to 2, very short, single flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes and carrying thick, fleshy flowers
