Common Name or Meaning The Equal Winged Oncidium

Found in northeastern Minas Gerais state of Brazil as a warm to cool growing terrestrial with small, eggshaped, closely compresssed, ancipitous pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several pairs of opposite, conduplicate, imbricate, leafless and leaf bearing sheaths and carrying 2, oblong-lanceolate, acute, rigid, leathery, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, basal, racemose to paniculate, 8 to 12" [20 to 30 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence that if branched has several wide spaced flowers to each one.
