Found in Bolivia at elevations of 1300 to 2500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to narrowly ovate, distinct midrib, strongly compressed laterally, ancipitous pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, lanceolate, leaves that blooms on a paniculate, heteranthous, erect, subflexuose, very short peduncle, 6 to 10, spreading to ascending shortly branched, inflorescencewith each branch with 1 to 2 abortive flowers and 1 to 2 fertile, mildly fragrant flowers
