Common Name Zelenko's Odontoglossum [Ecuadorian Author and Expert on Oncidium Current]

Found in Bocas del Toro de[artment of Panama in the crowns of tall trees at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with ovate to elliptical, strongly laterally compressed, ancipitous, dark red spotted pseudobulbs enveloped baally by 2 to 3, foliaceous sheaths and carrying a single, oblong-lanceolate, subpetiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, to ascending to nodding, lateral, peduncle 3.2 to 8" [8 to 20 cm] long, paniculate, 10 to 15 branched, each one 3 to 7 flowered, 8 to 24" [20 to 60 cm] long overall, many flowered inflorescence with triangular,a cute, shorter than the ovary floral bracts and carrying scentless flowers.
