Common Name The Closed Paphinia [refers to the flower not opening]
Flower Size 1/2" wide, 1" long [1.25 cm x 2.5 cm]
Found in Colombia as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with ovoid pseudobulbs carrying plicate leaves that blooms on a pendant, 4" [10 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence with capanulate flowers that do not open well occurring in the fall.
