Found in Thailand in the shade of primary forests steep cliffs and slopes on highly eroded limestone at elevations of 350 to 450 meters as a miniature sized, hot growing terrestrial with 3 to 5, narrowly elliptic to oblong, rounded and minutely tridenticulate apically, mottled very dark and pale green above, heavilly mottled purple beneath, ciliate at the base leaves that blooms in the spring on an erect, shortly but densely white pubescent, erect, 2.4 to 6.8" [6 to 17 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with conduplicate, broadly ovate, obtuse, palegreen spotted purple floral bracts.
