Flower Size 2 2/5 to 2 3/4" [6 to 7 cm]
Found in New Guinea as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial at elevations of 200 to 1200 meters with to 6, erect or spreading, oblong-lanceolate, dark green, tessellated with grey green, unequally and minutely tricuspidate apically leaves and has an erect, terminal, dark brown to black, to 12" [30 cm] long, pubescent inflorescence with a greenish-brown, pubescent floral bract that carries a single flower occuring in the winter and spring.
