Found in Assam, Bangladesh, Eastern Himalayas, India, western Himalayas, Andaman Islands, Thailand, Burma and Vietnam occuring in broadleaf, evergreen, lowland forests on limestone rocks and bushes as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing, monopodial epiphyte or lithophyte-terrestrial at elevations of 200 to 1000 meters with a scandent, branched, laterally compressed stems carrying disitchous, oblong, partly amplexicaul, thickly coriaceous, deeply channeled, keeled beneath leaves that blooms in the fall and winter on an axillary, 1 to 3 flowered inflorescence.
