Common Name The Small Phaius

Found in Assam, Bangladesh, the eastern Himalayas and Myanamar as a small sized terrestrial with no pseduobulbs and 1 to 4, narrowly elliptic to oblong-lanceolate, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the grooved, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the winter on an erect, glabrous, 3.2 to 6.4" [8 to 16 cm] long, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with elliptic-lanceoalte, acute bracts and lanceoalte, boat-shaped, acute floral bracts.
