Common Name The Beautiful Renanthera

Flower Size .52 to .6" [1.3 to 1.5 cm] wide

Found in southwestern Yunnan Province of China and India at elevations around 1584 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped bhy persistent leaf sheaths carrying 2 to 4, obliquely elliptic-oblong, acute, curved leaves tthat blooms in the late spring and early summer on 1 to 2, axillary, 4.8 to 8" [12 to 20 cm] long, pendulous, rachis 3.6 to 6.4" [9 to 16 cm] long, racemose to paniculate, basally single branched, loosely 15 to 35 flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute, persistent floral bracts.
