Common Name Popow's Phragmipedium [German Orchid Enthusiast current]

Found in Chiriqui Panama and often confused with P warszewiczii. This orchid is a herbaceous, humus epiphyte with a short stem carrying imbricate, conduplicate, medium to dark green leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, pubescent, 10 to 14" [25 to 35 cm] long, 2 to 4 simultaneous flowered inflorescence holding the flowers well above the leaves and has ovate to obovate floral bract.
