Common Name The Antioquia Pityphyllum [A Department of N Central Colombia]
Flower Size 1/4" [.62 cm]
Found in Antioquia Colombia and south to southern Ecuador at elevations around 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with 3/4 to 1 1/4" between each, obliquely oblong pseudobulb almost completely enveloped by brown scarious, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying 2 apical, terete, narrowly linear, rigid, acute leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, short, single flowered inflorescence.
