Found in Zambia in sandy grasslandsas a terrestrial or lithophyte at elevations of 1350 to 1500 meters with ovoid tubers giving rise to an erect leafy stem carrying to 8, lanceolate, evenly spread leaves that blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, short, racemose inflorescence with the 1 to 6 flowers held at the apex.
