Common Name The Bottle-Shaped Pleione

Flower Size 2.6" [6.5 cm]

Found in China, Assam and Thailand at elevations of 1300 to 2000 meters as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial that is a natural hybrid between P maculata and P praecox with bottle shaped, green mottled blackish brown pseudobulbs carrying narrowly oblanceolate leaves that blooms in the fall on a sheathed, 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying a fragrant flwoers.
