Flower Size .12" [3 mm]

Found in Bahia atate of Brazil at elevations around 1080 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with suberect, ramicauls enveloped by 2 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, apiculate, purple suffused beneath, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on an erect, to 1.6 to 2" [4 to 5 cm] long including the 1.4 to 1.6" [3.5 to 4 cm] long peduncle, loose, successively successively single, 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence arising near the apex of the ramicaul with a glabrous floral bract.
