Found in Venezuela, Surinam, Ecuador and Bolivia in rain forests at elevations of 100 to 900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with ascending to horizontal, slender ramicauls carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptical, obtuse to rounded, light green with purple spotting, cuneate below to the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an suberect, 1.4" [3.5 cm], to 15 successively flowered, racmose inflorescence arising on the back of the leaf.
