Found in the Leeward Islands, the Windward Islands, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil at elevations of 800 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with approximate, erect, slender, angular triquetrous ramicauls with a single sheath in the middle and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, narrowly oblong to oblong-elliptic, acute, sessile and basally attenuate leaf that blooms on a fascile of 2 to 3, filiform, to 2" [5 cm] long, distichously laxly several flowered racemose inflorescence subtended by a small compressed spathe.
