Common Name Dunsterville's Pleurothallis [American Orchid Enthusiast]

Found in Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela at elevations of 1100 to 3000 meters as a medium sized, warm to cold growing, epiphyte in humid forest with stout, erect ramicauls that are terete below the middle and slightly compressed above the middle and carrying a single, apical, rigid, coriaceous, erect to spreading, ovate, acute leaf that is carinate externally that blooms in the spring on a fascile of a few to many single flowered, 3/4" [2 cm] long inflorescence that arise from a reclining spathe.
