Found in Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia and Brazil at elevations around 200 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with suberect ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, rounded, tridenticulate, gradually narrowing below into the elongate, petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter through spring on a suberect, successively single flowered inflorescence.
