Common Name The Miniature Copy Pleurothallis [refers to its smaller, yet similar stature to P coriacardia]

Flower Size .2" [5 mm]

Found in Zamora-Chinchipe province of Ecuador at elevations around 1800 to 1900 meters meters as a small sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with a slender, erect ramicaul enveloped by a tubular sheath at the base and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, acute, slightly acuminate, shallowly cordate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, arising through and enveloped by a slender spathe longer than the .12 to .16" [3 to 4 mm] long peduncle, single flowered inflorescence with a shorter than the pedicel floral bracts.
