This species and Pleurothallis nummularia from Brazil are incredibly similar and most likely are the same species and if so then Pleurothallis nummularia takes precedence

A miniature epiphyte occurring in Belize, Honduras and Costa Rica with a creeping rhizome giving rise to a recumbent, short, ramicaul enveloped completely by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single apical, round, apiculate, abruptly narrowing below into the base leaf that has an apical, racemose longer than the leaf, successive several, single flowered inflorescence.
