Found in Ecuador at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 2, thin, tubular sheaths and carrying single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly obovate, subacute to obtuse, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring and summer on a filiform, to 1" [2.5 cm] long, loose, subflexuous, flexible, successively few flowered inflorescence
