Found in Ecuador at elevations around 1500 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, erect? ramicaul enveloped by a tubular sheath below the middle and 2 to 3 others at the base and carryiong a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, acute, cuneate below into the sessile base leaf that blooms in the summer on a pendent to arching, flaccid, distichous, 2.8 to 4" [7 to 10 cm] long, simultaneously few flwoered inflroescence without a spathe and has a tubular floral bract.
