Found in the Philippines at elevations around 1300 meters as a medium sized, warm growing terrestrial with large pseudobulbs carrying 4, apical, lanceolate, acuminate, plicate, distincly 3 veined, gradually narrowing below into the elongate petiolate base leaves that are sheathed basally by brown scarious sheaths and blooms on a lateral from the base, erect, shortly hairy, to 8" [20 cm] long, loosely one to successively few flowered inflorescence with triangular, lanceolate, acuminate, hairy bracts.
