Common Name The Delicate Podochilus
Flower Size .65" [1.7 cm]
Found in Malaysia, Borneo, Java and Sumatra in damp hill, oak/laurel and lower montane forests at elevations of 700 to 1950 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte occuring in deep shade with numerous, thin, freely branching stems carrying small, acutely angled, narrowly oblong, apiculate leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, rarely lateral, short, 3 to 4 flowered inflorescence with ovate, acuminate floral bracts.
CAUTION I am not sure of either of these determinations so please use with caution!
I am sure that the Petrzelka determination is incorrect. I feel that it is much closer to P forficuloides see Orchids of Sumatra Comber 2001
