Found in norteastern Madagascar in tropical woods at elevations of 150 to 700 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing lithophyte with elongated pseudobulbs carrying 3, lineart-ligualte leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, often paniculate, several flowered inflorescence
This determination may be incorrect as the plant is from Zambia
