Found in northwestern and east central Madagascar in humid evergreen forests at elevations around 700 to 1500 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte or terrestrial with conical-cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2 to 4, linear-ligulate leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, simple or to 3 branched, clustered, many flowered inflorescence.
