Common Name or Meaning The Long-Leafed Polystachya

Found in Ghana, Guinea, Nigeria, Siera Leone, Togo, Cameroon and Gabon in sedge mats as a small to medium sized terrestrial with narrowly oblong, obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms on a branched to 10" [25 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence arising before the leaves mature.
