Found in Thailand, Penin. Malaysia, Sumatra, Jawa, Borneo, Maluku Is. and The Phillipines at elevations of sealevel to 1100 meters in lowland podosol forests as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte or lithophyte on limestone with a rather short, stout stem carrying to 25 dull-grey green, erect leaves that are apically rounded and unequally bilobed and blooms spring on a branched, erect, slender, finely pilose, 10 to 16" [25 to 40 cm] long, inflorescence with shortly triangular, acute floral bracts carrying densly clustered, small, non-resupinate, wide-opening flowers.
