Flower Size 3/4 to 1 3/8" [2 to 3.5 cm]
Found as a colony forming terrestrial in New Caledonia, southeastern Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia in open forests near streams at elevations of 400 to 1400 meters as a miniature to small sized, hot to cold growing terrestrial carrying 2 to 6, ovate to oblong, with crisped margins, stalked leaves in a basal rosette that blooms from late winter through spring on a single flowered, 12" [30 cm] long inflorescence.
