Found in Siera Leone, Benin, Ghana, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Togo, Liberia, Nigeria, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Zaire and Angola in evergreen forests ata elevations of 100 to 200 meters as a minaiture to small sized, hot growing epiphyute with an erect, short stem carrying 4 to 6, arranged in a fan, flattened and with the upper surfaces cohering so that they appear Iris-Like, entire and acute apically leaves that blooms in the spring and early summer arising from below the leaves, spreading to pendant, 4 to 6" [10 to 15 cm] long, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with ovate bracts
