Found in the Philippines at elevations around 60 meters as a medium sized, hot growing monopodial epiphyte with stout, hanging, thick and compressed stems carrying leathery, oblong, slightly contracted at the base leaves that blooms in the summer on an opposite the leaf bases, elongate, densely many flowered, pendant, 12" [30 cm] racmose or one branched inflorescence carrying unscented, fleshy flowers.
