Found in Sumatra at elevations of 1450 to 1600 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with a long and pendulous,apically upturned, branching stem carrying lanceolate, somewhat basally twisting, more or less bidentate, acute leaves that blooms on 1 to 3, from the same spot, peduncle .04" [1 mm] long, single flowered inflorescence carrying fleshy flowers that have the tepals transparently white, somewhat basally green, and transversely dotted purple on the inside, the lip is waxy white with some ochre
