Found in Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras and El Salvador at elevations of 800 to 1600 meters as a miniature szied, warm growing lithophyte with a rosette of basal, rosulate, bluish green with silver stripes, sessile leaves that are present at blooming which occurs in the late spring and early summer on an erect, olive green, white pubescent, to 12" [30 cm] long, to 10 flowered inflorescence with green, acute bracts.
