Common Name Weinthal's Sarcochilus - The Blotched Butterfly Orchid

Flower Size 1/4 to 3/8" [1 to 1.5 cm]

Found in Queensland and New South Wales at elevations of 300 to 600 meters in hilly and mountainous areas well inland from the coast with a short stem carrying 3 to 7, curved, , thin, leathery, yellowish green leaves that blooms in the winter and spring on a pendulous, [5 to 7 cm] long, 3 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
