Common Name The Small Helmut Satyrium

Found in Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania in wet rocky places in upland grasslands at elevations around 1400 meters as a medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with a very slender plant with spreading, basal, almost adpressed leaves that blooms in the late summer and early fall on an erect, to 16" [40 cm] long, rather lax, 8 to many flowered inflorescence carrying light creamy yellow colored flowers.
