Flower Size about 1/2" [1.2 cm]
A pendant, monopodial, small to large sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte that is found in Java, Borneo and Sumatra in lower montane forests at elevations around 750 to 1800 meters with a pendulous, freely branching stem carrying terete, acute leaves often flushed with violet that blooms in the early summer on several at a time, axillary but towards the apex, racemose, to 4" [10 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence with triangular, acute floral bracts and flowers that open in succession but do not open widely.
