Found in New Guinea and Queensland Australia in lower montane forests at elevations of 600 to 1800 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an unbranched, rather thick stem enveloped by leaf bearing sheaths and carrying many erect-patent, narrowly linear, subobtuse, semiterete, fleshy leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on a paniculate, few branched, 1" [2.5 cm] long, laxly several to many flowered inflorescence with deltoid, minute floral bracts.
