Common Name The Broad Sepal Stelis [refers to the sepal margin]

Found in Colombia and Venezuela in dense elfin forests and in dwarf rainforests at elevations around 1500 to 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphtye with a very short ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, ovate to narrowly ovate, rounded to obtuse, gradually narrowed below into the base leaf that blooms on an ascending to erect, pale green, 3.2" [8 cm] long including the filiform, peduncle, mostly simultaneously several flowered inflorescence from below the apex of the ramicaul and has small, thin, translucent cream floral bracts.
