Found in Minas Gerais Brazil on mossy trees in humid forests as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect ramicaul enveloped by a single, scarious sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, linear-oblong, subobtuse and tridenticulate apically, attenuate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on an erect, 3.2" [8 cm] long, slender, subdistichous, several flwoered inflorescence arising through an acute spathe and with infundibular below, cup shaped above floral bracts.
