Common Name The Para Stelis [refers to the location of the species in Brazil]

Flower Size .16" to .2" [4 to 5 mm]

Found in northern Brazil in wet montane forests at elevations of 900 to 1500 meters as a warm to cool growing epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by 3 greyish sheaths and carrying asingle, apical, erect, coriaceous, obovate, faintly conduplicate, leathery, narrowing below intothe pseudo-petiolate base leaf that blooms in the summer on 1 to 2, erect, 6 to 12" [15 to 30 cm] long, 50 to 100 flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe .
