Found in Dominican Republic, Haiti and Ecuador at elevations around 900 to 2250 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with ascending, slender ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, subacute to acute, narrowly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring, summer and fall on an erect, secund, subdense, 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long including the .6" [1.5 cm] long peduncle, mostly simultaneously several flowered inflorescence arising through a spathe from below the apex of the ramicual with oblique, tubular floral bracts.
