Common Name or Meaning Wettstein's Stelis [Austrian Orchid Collector Early 1900's]

Found in Minas Gerais Brazil in the Mantiqueira Rain Forest Mountains at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with an erect, stiff ramicaul carrying a single, apical, erect, spathulate, light green, fleshy, deeply keeled leaf that blooms in the spring in situ on to 10, stiff, reddish, to 5" [12.5 cm] long, spicate, several flowered inflorescence.
