Common Name The Broad Point Taeniophyllum
Found in New Guinea on trees at elevations around 600 meters as a mini-miniature, warm growing epiphyte without leaves that blooms in the winter on a hirsute, .8" [2 cm] long, laxly few flowered inflorescence with triangular floral bracts.
Schlechter stated that the flowers are golden yellow.
