Found in the eastern Himalayas and Laos on mossy tree trunks at elevations of 1300 to 2400 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with flattened, grey-green roots giving rise to short, 1 to 2 flowered, glandular pubescent inflorescence with a few distant sheaths and lanceolate acute floral bracts with successively single flowers
