Deep Shade Cold

Common Name The Half Black Telipogon

Flower Size 3/4" [1.8 cm]

Found in Colombia and Ecuador at elevations around 3350 to 3500 meters as a cold growing epiphyte

I am fairly sure that this determination is correct but that there are 3 distinct types to the species, which may turn out to be three separate species, The first featured in the first photo has short hairs with apical fingers on the column. The second type is featured in the second photo above with medium length hairs with apical fingers. The third type is featured in the third photo above and has long hairs on the column with apical fingers.
