Found in Victoria Australia at elevations of 150 to 250 meters among grass tussocks in grasslands as a small sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with a single leaf that blooms in the spring on an erect, 4 to 8" [10 to 20 cm] long, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3 sterile bracts
